There appears to be a problem with our Manual Log Form. Logs submitted via the form are not being received. If you tried to submit a log via the form or were planning to, you may have to submit another way until we get the problem sesolved. We apologize for the problem and have contacted WA7BNM about it.

Our FQP set a record of over 700 logs received in 2004. This year's submissions are down quite a bit from that, although the decrease might all be accounted for by a bunch of mobiles not returning in 2005.
We are now caught up with all of the e-logs submitted so far for 2005. There may have been a 1-2 day period in mid May when a few logs may have slipped through the e-mail cracks. If you entered this year, please check our logs received page and if your call is not listed, please send your log(s) ASAP. |

The FQP Records have been updated.
Due to the mobile category changes in 2004, new mobile records have been added for Single Operator plus Driver and Single Operator, No Driver. Single Operator Mobile records before
2004 have been left in the listings. Those are marked with ** after the callsign.
Those mobile operators can let me know if they were with or without drivers, and I will make changes as needed to get the older records placed correctly. |

Updated rules for 2005 have been uploaded. There is only one significant change, and
that is the addition of the mobile "window". The mobile "window" frequencies are:
CW 7.025-7.030, 14.040-14.050, 21.040-21.050, 28.040-28.050 MHZ
SSB 7.265-7.275, 14.265-14.275, 21.340-21.350, 28.480-28.490 MHz
Sorry about the small window on 40 CW. This is primarily due to trying to cram home and mobile stations into 10 kHz (7.025-7.035) because there is a RTTY contest the same weekend, and they are down to 7.035. Hopefully this will work out OK. |

The FQP log checking process is underway. Logs are being checked by hand, which is a time consuming process.
No estimate at this time when results will be available, but of course, we're working to make them available as soon as possible. Also, our
"Contact Us" e-mail address is working again. |

November 9, 2004
The FQP Web site was switched to a new server. This resulted in some configuration problems, which have now
been corrected. As a result, the FQP Web site is once again, up and running. There are still problems with the e-mail addresses. Hope to have those corrected soon. |

We have now added an XML/RSS news feed to keep you "up to date" on FQP happenings.
Simply add the XML/RSS URL (click on XML/RSS graphic) into an RSS Reader, and you'll automatically receive the latest FQP news. |

Activity was definitely unprecedented - thanks to all who made the effort to get on! Tremendous number of "OJ"s exchanged.
Logs are pouring in at an unprecedented rate. Our robot is not yet assembled, so it is yours truly (K1TO) receiving your e-logs again this year.
**I will acknowledge each and every log as I can get to it, so please be patient, particularly with this initial backlog.**
A number of folks seem to have swept all counties again this year, with several accomplishing this on the first day (for the first time ever). |

We now have a second address set up to access the Florida QSO Party Web site, www.flqp.org |

April 8, 2004
The FQP records have been updated.
In order to make it easier for folks to work the mobile stations, for the upcoming FQP, we will
experiment with a mobile "window". This "window" will be up to 10 kHz below the suggested CW frequencies, and up to 20 kHz below the suggested SSB frequencies.
Florida "home" stations should not call CQ or "run" stations in this mobile "window". We'd like your feedback, to know if this was helpful in working the mobile stations. |

October 30, 2003
Updated rules for 2004 have been uploaded. There are several changes, which
include changes to the Single Operator mobile categories, dropping of the Novice/Technician category, and changing the exchange
for DX stations (send DXCC prefix instead of just DX).
Other changes for 2004 include a new e-mail address for submitting logs and a
web form for entering QSO information from paper logs. This form will then generate and submit a proper Cabrillo file for log checking (tnx WA7BNM). |
